How much do I have to send via PayPal, fees included?
I can also buy a PSN card, but that'll take time since I have to go out and get it. Much more convenient to go the PayPal route.

Re: Next Game Purchase
That's great awworld, I got the money. So I guess I've got payment from myself and awworld. Also, just as a heads up, if you have an Xbox360, you can get the Fallout 3:GOTY edition, download the second disc to your hard drive that contains all 5 DLC packs, then trade the game back in. (The first disc is identical to the regular edition!) Unfortunately, the bluray disc is so big that they fit all of the DLC packs onto 1 disc so you can't trade it in. Most places are still giving $40 for the GOTY edition.
As far as fees are concerned, if it is a personal transfer (no goods being sold) to family or friends, then there are no fees IF the money is coming from a bank account or the money is already in your Paypal account. If the money is coming from a credit card source, then it'll be 2.9% + $0.30, so $20 will cost $20.91.
Here is a link to the Paypal site from their actually description:
https://cms.paypal.com/ca/cgi-bin/?&cmd=_render-content&content_ID=marketing_ca/send_money_fees
Also, here is a good site to figure out the fees (if applicable):

For sure Bryce. (Just remember to go an delete all of your CC info via the Account Management screen after you add the funds because it automatically saves the info.) Let us know when you do. Thanks.

Re: Next Game Purchase
Hope everyone had a good holidays. I thought that I'd post a quick update. It looks like only awworld has sent in their money. Are people planning on continuing with this group? I have a few local friends that want me to join their gameshare group. I'm thinking that it might be easier that way because I can deal directly with people without too much effort. (it would be fast comunication as well). I am fine with sticking with this group as long as people try to respond in a timely manner.

Yeah, I'm still continuing with the group. There just hasn't been many good games out during the holidays. I'll purchase a $20 PSN card soon.
Thanks for all the work Snuter!

Re: Next Game Purchase
Well that's good. Like I said, I am fine with continuing with the group, I'd just like that we get people checking back a little more consistently. Since the store updates every thursday, perhaps checking on at least every thursday might be a good idea.

Re: Next Game Purchase
On a separate note, I just traded some games into EB Games and got a preorder of Bioshock2, God of War3 and Final Fantasy 13. I was debating on, whether I should get the Bioshock 2 Limited Edition instead; it cost $40 more. Can't wait to get them.

Re: Next Game Purchase
Just finished Devil May Cry 4 and started Uncharted 2. It looks really nice and the transition from cut-scenes to playable is uncanny. The only part I dont like is the "treasure hunting" portion (finding the little blnking treasures). I think it detracts from the flow of the game unless you are playing it a second time then I can understand it.
Only a couple of weeks left until Bioshock 2. Yippeee.
Oh for those who have a Costco account in Canada, there is a thread that says Brutal Legend (ps3 and 360) is marked down to $13.xx.

Re: Next Game Purchase
Uncharted 2 was probably my favorite game of the year. (Don't worry about treasure hunting if you aren't playing on Platinuming it - some of the ones are really hard and you'll probably need a guide to find them all!) Also, for $13.xx, brutal legends is a steal. I bought it back when it was $40 - it is kinda short but for $13 you can't go wrong. I've got quite a few games preorder over the next couple of months and will probably be interested in any DLC that comes out for them:
BioShock 2
Heavy Rain
White Knight Cronicles
Fanal Fantasy 13
3d dot hearos
God of War 3!!
Red Dead Redeption
Mass effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan Wake (xbox but still really excited!)
Anyway, I've got payment from awworld and wilme (as well as myself). Once we hear from Bryce and Heimdal (either paypaling me the money or just adding it straight to the wallet) we should make a list of any upcoming DLC/PSN games that we might be interested in.

Re: Next Game Purchase
So, anyone up for the Uncharted 2 DLC that comes out next week? It adds characters from a bunch of other PS3 games.

Re: Next Game Purchase
I be fine with getting the Uncharted 2 DLC, however, I think we should maybe wait till all three packs come out because I'm guess that they'll bundle them together. Here is the story from IGN (note: they got the pricing wrong - it'll all the paid DLC, not free)
http://ps3.ign.com/articles/106/1062515p1.html
The first pack (Jan 28) is just 7 skins. The second pack (feb) will include a few more skins and maps. The final pack (apr?) will include more skins, maps AND new co-op/competitive modes! It seems like that'll be the big game changing update. The official word from the ps blog says that some sites have their info wrong, so the dates might be closer together.
Also, I am still waiting to hear from heimdal about his portion of the funds.

Re: Next Game Purchase
I have seen heimdal posts a few comments on CAG. I just pm him with the following message:
"Hi Heimdal,
Are you still interested in the gameshare group? Please let us know as we are awaiting for your $20. If we don't hear from you soon we will need to find another person. "
I will let you know once he responded.
As for games, I would play anything the group buys. Althought I have to be honest and say I have not been able to get into Nooby Nooby; I found Katamari to be much more fun. I would agree to wait for the Uncharted2 DLC bundle.

Re: Next Game Purchase
Hopefully Heimdal gets back to us soon and still wants to continue with the group (cause Bryce added his money directly which can cause a few problems). I used wilme, awworld and my money toward 3 $20 PSN cards which I'll add to the wallet as we go.
Also, is anyone interested in the 2 DLC addons for RE5? They are both story missions and should be $5 each.

I'm interested in the RE5 DLCs. Those look pretty good to me. As for the Uncharted 2 DLCs, I agree to wait for the 3 pack, as it's going to be cheaper that way.

Hi guys,
I'll most likely be able to buy a PSN card and I'll add my $20 directly.
Not playing as much nowadays but I'll be able to eventually.
