Next Game Purchase

Welcome back awworld. Nope, we didn't buy anything new since you left.

Did you guys hear about the change to gamesharing today? They announced that we can only share with 2 PS3s instead of the 5. That's starting Nov 18th. So everything purchased after that date, will only be available for 2 people. We'll have to discuss what we want to do.

Well, it won't affect anything bought before Nov 18th, but after that it'll probably be the end of gaming sharing (at least with 5 people, i'm guessing.)

But, we have about $41.xx left and we had chosen 4 games before:

1. Outland ( 4/3 snuter, wilme, haya, awworld are yes)
2. Beyond Good & Evil ( 4/3 snuter, wilme, haya, awworld are yes)
3. Gatling Gears ( 3/3 snuter, wilme, awworld are yes)
4. The Baconing ( 3/3 snuter, wilme, awworld are yes)

I believe, with the exception of the Baconing, all of the games are $10 and the Baconing is $15. That would make about $45, so we'd be about $4 short. I think I can use my credit card to add the extra $5 (I hope) so perhaps I can purchase all of these games that we have all agreed upon before that date. After that, I don't really know how game sharing will work (which I guess is the reason that they are decreasing the limit from 5 to 2.) Oh well, we all saved quite a but of money so far.

That sounds good to me!! Anybody interested in continuing with a 2 man group instead? snuter?

I really want to see the changes that they are gonna make come Nov 18, but I'd definitely consider a 2 man group. As you can see, I'm fine with most content, but I defiantly have a lot to play so I normally don't mind waiting for a sale. But, to get $100 worth of content for $50 (or less if you take advantage of the PSN card sales going on right now) is still a great deal in a 2 man group: 50% off everything, even at launch.

Sad to hear that. I good for any of the games mentioned to use up the remaining funds.

For sure. I'll take a look at it, (maybe tonight but I don't know if I'll have time) and add the last few dollars and buy the games. I'll post here once it is done.

I had a chance to talk to Haya today (and informed him about the new changes to the PSN rules) and he mentioned that he'd be up for getting Infamous Bound in Blood (the vampire themed DLC). It was rated pretty good (although it was critiqued for being a little too short) and it only costs $10.

If we bought that instead of The Baconing, then I wouldn't have to add the extra $5 (which would mean that we would still have a couple bucks left over.) That way, I think we'd have about a $1.05 which I could spend on perhaps some $0.99 DLC Add-on for one of the deathspank games. I think there was some extra character add-on that we never bought for the second deathspank game. So we'd spend the last $40 on :

Outland, Beyond Good & Evil, Gattling Gears and Infamous BiB.

I'm good with the new Infamous DLC as well.

Cool, I think might be best. (It saves me from associating my credit card with this account!) I'll go add these to the cart right now. I guess we'll have to check back after Nov 18 to see how the changes affect gamesharing.

I like the infamous suggestion and it would pretty much use up all the funds without adding more. Lets wait for the 18th to findout what will happen next. Thanks.

Cool. I went ahead and downloaded the games (and I added a $0.99 DLC for Deathspank:ToV) so I think we have $0.06 left in the account. Enjoy the games.
