Ya, I think voting, in addition with weighing in opinions about games is a must. While PSN games, for the most part, have been solid - you can never be too sure when something might come out and be complete crap.

As a side note, I thought the Elefunk demo was fun.

This forum is exactly why there was so much confusion via PM. It really isn't for me to decide when, where, and how to do things, its a group effort, all of us.

I am about to head into work, and will put some money in when I get home. I am just glad to finally get this thing going.

My guess strangepork was the other guy who added funds, since he mentioned he would.

I just added $10 as well, bringing us up to $35.


What I want to know is...are all the warning messages when you start up Elefunk so necessary?

just in case you guys didn't know.

you can queue up downloads and sign out of the name and into any other users on your PS3 and let it download. So you're not thinkin like you have to stay in the cag_share name while a game downloads..

Awesome, seems to have a really good group here.

I made a second thread that lists what games we currently bought, the wallet amount, and upcoming PSN releases. Feel free to check it out.

On a side note, the next PSN release is Pixeljunk Eden. This would probably be a good time to discuss how we will vote for these, whether it will be to download all the new games, or go by a majority vote system.

If you guys want to do majority vote, im in for eden.

I know trophies are in, how about custom soundtracks? I feel PSN games are perfect for your own soundtrack but only ONE game supports it that I know of.. sigh.

I wish more games would support custom soundtracks. I only play SSHD because it lets me play my music.

I'm definitely in for Eden (I don't know of any upcoming PSN release based on E3 that I'm not excited for). I often listen to podcasts or music on my Zune during games so custom soundtracks aren't a huge deal since I haven't loaded any music onto the PS3 hard drive yet. I will say I think the elefunk music is pretty good, although there isn't much of it so I'm about ready to turn the sound down.

Majority voting sounds like it's the best way to decide on games.

It looks like Eden will be released on the July 31. It is going to be our second PSN purchase.

Just downloaded Elefunk. I could use a lot more instructions with my games. I can't seem to get beyond trail and error with this one. Regardless, thanks for setting up the group and helping us successfully get it going. Looking forward to Eden although I can't really tell wtf is going on in the videos I've seen.



PS - I posted this on CAG but though I could post here to as this seems like a legit group. Just had a good experience with a fellow CAGer this afternoon on trading PSN games. One of his for one of mine. I'm looking to obtain High Velocity Bowling or High Stakes Poker in exchange for PAIN which I have.

As far as Elefunk, if you have ever taken a statics course or anything of that sort. It is all about load bearing, which beams/girders will be able to maximize weight distribution.

That being said, I understand the concept of it, but it can get pretty tricky. I flew through the first set of levels within an hour, kind of stopped there.

I'm hearing that 1942 is coming out tomorrow. Do we need to vote on that one? I'm hearing it won't have trophies but that doesn't bother me. Should we wait until reviews come in?

Apparently it does have two-player co-op which does interest me greatly. Which I think you have to buy separately on SSHD.

It does have a nostalgia factor for me but I'm finding SSHD as a great shooter. Not sure how I will come out on 1942 if we vote.
