Next Game Purchase

Isn't MvC2 coming out tomorrow? I'm very much interested in that too.

It came out for xbox360. I'm pretty sure that xbox360 has a 2 weeks exclusivity for it so it won't be comming out for a couple weeks. Kinda sucks but atleast the ps3 version let's you gameshare (so it'll be $3 not 1200 ms points) and you can use the better ps3 dpad.

But I still need to know if:
1. You are okay with a new 5th group member
2. How you want to spend the extra bit of money that we have. (shatter and gunstar heros like I suggested).

I'm alright with the new 5th member and I'm fine with getting those 2 games as well.

Can't wait for Fat Princess and MvC2!

1. Is there any repercussions with having that new 5th group member? Do we just have to change the password, or create a brand new group?

2. We can go with that plan like you suggested. I don't see anything good for $4.99, so I'll just trust you when you said that Gunstar Heroes is a classic.

We'll have to create a brand new group (cause we can't make Habsfan08 deativate his login to the account cause he'll lose access to the old downloaded games: flower, pixeljunk eden, etc).

Also, Gunstar heros is the only game that looks decent for $5. It sounds like none of you guys have played it before. It was perhaps the best Genesis megadrive game, so for $5 it is worth it. Here are a couple of reviews:

It is a good game, but the only knock against it is that it is kinda short (as were all the games back then).

Well, with the exception of Awworld, I've heard back from everyone else.
I went ahead and created a new user group. I sent the details to everyone's normal CAG PM. Bryce will add the first $20 to the PSN and download Fat Princess tonight, cause I know everyone has said in the past that they want it. Once I hear back from Awworld, I'll download the other two games from you old PSN gameshare.

I keep getting an error when I try to download Fat Princess.

Anyone have any luck downloading it?

No problems here. Perhaps a problem with the PSN itself. Too high demand.

I downloaded/installed it no problem. I managed to join one game, now I can't join any others, can't connect to the host or something like that.

I got fat princess no problems either, but can't seem to connect to any games online.

I haven't tried connecting yet but I assumed that they would be having problems (just like they did with their Battlefield 1943 severs on the first few days).

Also, once I hear from Awworld, I'll download Shatter and Gunstar heros (Sorry Bryce, this'll be part of the old group so you won't have access to it.)

hey snuter, thank you for finding a new member and taking care of all the logistics. Sorry I have been away, I'm fine with everyone's decision and just finished downloading fat princess.

Alright, so here what I did. I downloaded both Gunstar Heros and Shatter on the old gameshare group. (Bryce already has Shatter, so he won't be missing out on much.) The cost was:

$7.99 for Shatter and $4.99 for Gunstar Heros, for a total of $12.98 which came to $13.63 with tax. We already had $8.06 in the account so I added the extra $5.57 via my credit card. Since there are only 4 of us left from this group, we each added $1.39 each from our $20.00 leaving us with $18.61 each for the new group.

Bryce has already added his $20 (which was used to buy Fat Princess for $14.99 or $15.74 with tax) and we still have $4.26 currently left in the PSN wallet. Since everyone else has sent me their money via paypal, I'll add the remaining $74.44 as we need it ($18.61 x 4 people).

EDIT: Actually, you can only add money to the PSN in multiples of $5, so I'll add a total of $75.00. Also, just to let people know, I'll probably add it in $20 installments cause I bought 3 $20 PSN cards and add the other $15 via credit card.

Just wanting to know if everyone (except Bryce) downloaded Shatter and Gunstar Heros from the old account.

Also, seeing as though we've got a new group now with alot of new money, we should probably list some of our top choices. So, I thought that I'd start us of with some of the things that I'm interested in that have been announced that are comming to the PSN:

1. Marvel vs Capcon 2 (TOMORROW!)
2. Pixeljunk Shooter
3. All Fallout 3 DLC expansions (If it is $50, it'll work out to $10 each!)
4. Castle Crashers
5. Braid
6. Trine

That's about all I can think of for now, but I'm open to other people's choices. Remember, try to stick to new releases so no one has to pay for something twice.

I'd suggest buying the regular edition when the game of the year edition comes out in October. The GOTY edition is gonna be $70 and you can probably buy a regular edition used copy for $20-30. Add the DLC from the PSN, which might bundle all 5 together for less than $50, bought via a game share and it'll cost you $30-40 dollars. I know that if this group doesn't want to go for it, then I'll probably find another 1 time gameshare group specifically for this DLC cause I bought the CE during "EB's deal of the day" a week ago. Just my 2 cents...
