I can probably make 9 tonight for poker.

I'll try and make UT3 this monday and see what's up, maybe it's changed a little since last.

Don't know about the chapter select smog. I just ran through it so ...... Looks like the trophies are coming along though. What do you think of the actual game though?

Yeah, I missed one trophy in chapter 6 and a couple at the beginning but I guess I can get them on my Crushing playthrough. The game surpassed my expectations. I cant stop playing. Absolutely stellar.

i think the "update" is actually the whole game. when i got it from the store it took no time, then that took forever. don't forget to get the free add ons from the store as well for poker

so my no audio/video problems ive decided happen when it says negotiating with NAt host failed

Nice game last night. Props to buddah for taking me and smog out in the same hand.

Should do it again sometime.

EDIT: Pain update delayed, but aleast it's still coming in September. Trophies being re-tooled.

Yeah that was a good time. I am up for it whenever.

That is bullshit they wait until the day before it is coming out. Oh well. The trophies are wayyy easier now, although it pisses me off how hard I had to grind to get the in-game patches that are the same as trophies.
Travis Williams did say in the comments it should be out on the 11th though.

It was definitely fun last night, just wish my NAT would've negotiated better so I could chat for the whole thing. How late were you guys on there? I figured after my second free buy-in that I'd give up instead of going the infinite continue route. When it's fake money, I tend to just make stupid bets for the hell of it and it ends up costing me.

Video of "savage moon" the tower defense game coming to psn.

Lumines is also slated for release on psn this fall (never played one myself).

Blackfoot studios is working on some tactical strategy downloadable game for psn, live, and pc using unreal3 tech titled "Shy Gods".

Shame about the PAIN expansion, but those trophies were ridiculous so I guess it's a good thing.

Savage moon looks cool, I love me some strategy gaming. Just traded in BFBC, GT5 Prologue and Eye of Judgement to GS for 62 bucks. Pretty sweet IMO. They gave me 30 for Battlefield and 20 for GT5P. First time I have ever been satisfied leaving Gamestop.

Also, it looks like us PS3 owners WILL be included in the COD5 beta, unlike COD4. That is good for me since I will most likely not purchase it unless the MP is crack

I'm planning on skipping COD W@W as well. I've barely played 4 lately, and don't need to bolster my list of games just cuz its a COD.

I'd buy that remote thing if it were just a Blu-Ray control/keyboard. The ps3 controller buttons make it seem a little foolish.

Oh, thats what I thought it was. I figured the Joysticks were for the web browser. That would be a decent 3rd controller for PJM and Eden, and games where buttons are really not needed.

Yea, it definitely has 3rd controller capabilities. A weird device, but could come in handy for when you need a 3rd. Like back in the day when someone would get stuck with the crappy 3rd party controller.

I'd probably would only pick up cod5 for coop campaign. I'm no a super cod fan. BFBC has replaced COD4 mp for me.

Hey, how did the upgrading to a new hd go fro you guys? I'm thinking of doing it myself. I want to put linux on my ps3 for some school projects. I'm looking at doing some computer vision stuff (opencv runs 1-27x faster on the cell than a core2) and parallel computing. Is there anything I should be aware of? Did you lose data? How do I back stuff up? Can I just red/l the games we have?

If you use the backup utility on the ps3 you can transfer everything to the new one. Just use the backup utility. Destination drive should be formatted to FAT. Replace HDD with new one. Run backup in reverse and voila, like nothing changed!

No idea about linux though.

I'm up for jeopardy although I'll be getting Buzz Quiz TV in a few so I'm not sure if I need 2 trivia games, but hey I lap that shit up so .....
