Sharing HD movies would be outstanding. That "Life With Playstation" thing sounds awesome too.

Gaming thing sounds cool, but it says times/dates TBA for me?

Am I the only one who thought they should have had a list of games to get trophies ready? I mean MGS4 just relased! They should have had that ready at least! Oh well. I'm guessing a lot of people will be playing PAIN and SSHD from wednesday onward. Buddah will probably be going for the platinum trophy on that one.

I am kind of glad that I never really got into SSHD, so I can grind it out for the first time to check out the trophy system. Anyone else see/hear that the Siren episodes are going to be 600mb a piece? Damn, that is big if they plan on offering 12 episodes.

I just called Sony about the sharing thing. He said if any of us are unfortunate to have out PS3s fail then we're screwed. You can't rejoin the group.

Basically putting in a new HDD acts like getting a new account. So like with me I'd also lose SingStar songs for good too just by upgrading. The guy sounded like he didn't care either. Oh well, maybe MrBrando will have better luck.

Here's to our PS3s longevity. I think we all have 60GB models too right.

Not a big deal as far as gamesharing goes. Like Smog said I got my money out of the games. Almost worth it just for this community!

Actually I am a 40 gig owner. Jumped on the K-Mart gift card deal in November last year and got it for like $250. Any ideas if the FW will drop at midnight or 2am tonight?

LAME! That sucks if I ever want to upgrade, which I kind of anticipated down the line. Guess I'll just trim the fat off my HD when necessary, I have a 60GB. I suppose that's why they have the 5 ps3 limit in the first place.

Still have to read all the PS Blog posts regarding 2.4 and catch up with the info. Finally picked up a 4GB memory stick yesterday for my psp, so now I can get cranking away at those games. Sony brand on sale this week at Best Buy for $39.99 (used $30 in reward certs, so only $10 OOP).

Also, hit a jackpot this week with TRU and Blockbuster by flipping $5 copies of Fantastic 4 for $30 a piece at BB. Up to ~$150 in credit already and looking to drop a few more off on my day off thursday. Maybe I'll get MGS4 after all.

Anyway, looks like we got the SSHD - Team on the store this week.

A resounding YES from me. $100 buddah will say yes.

EDIT: Another thing we could all do it just start a new group and all upgrade our HDDs. We'd lose our shtuff right now, but as far as I'm concerned the only thing I'd redownload is the SSHD - Solo pack. Of course this would involved all of us suddenly getting HDDs at the same time, and for Buddah and BR it'd also mean getting shafted on the RB songs too.

You do know its up in the SSHD store right now? I should put my money in and grab it a day early if you guys are down. -Edit- Just realized that by purchasing through the SSHD store the rest of the group would not be able to get it from DL list in PS Store. (I think)

I think we should do the HD thing before we purchase a ton more shite. Then again, I could survive a long time with 40 gigs as long as I delete demos and whatnot

Yea, I think I'm just going to ride it out with my 60gb and hope mandatory 5gb installs don't become the norm for games. Anyone have issues with 2.4? Just read kotaku and they mentioned people having trouble. I have yet to update mine.

After more research it seems some people are able to get back everything on their new HDD after backingup/restoring using the system bar.

Call me dumb but I'm seriously thinking of going out and getting me a new HDD. I got some bday monies that I have to go blow .... At best nothing will change and I'll have more space. At worst I'll be down some stuff, but it probably would have happened sooner or later.

EDIT: No probs here yet, although I only installed then rebooted. I'll check the real features out when I get home.

EDIT 2: Yeah smog, lets just wait till thursday for the SSHD pack.

hey SB, I picked up my copy of ETQW for PS3, so whenever I get working internet we can grab a game.!

Also guys I ordered an HDD online, so I'll post details of how that goes next week.

When I turned mine on around 10:30pm and checked for an update it said there was none available. SO I have no clue what your're talking about.

Since it hasn't crossed my mind in a month, does anyone know if a Qore subscription is shareable? Is there any interest if it is?

Not really, unless they start putting cool stuff in it. I already have the first episode and if it didnt have any Socom news it would have been lame. Plus the beta. I think we should just get individual episodes if 3 of us want it. Naruto demo doesnt do it for me.
