Is UT3 night still pretty healthy? If you think it'll last for a while, I might pick up a clearanced copy this week ($20) at Target when I go buy the Office Season 4 on Tuesday.

Just saw on VGReleases that it lists Wipeout HD and Age of Booty for release on sept 30th

I've haven't been to a UT3 night all summer because I've been away. You'd have to ask SB to see what the deal is. WIth that said, the forums still look decently active. It's no warhawk though. I think there's like 4-5 regulars and like 2-3 new guys coming in? Regardless, it's still a fun game to play. I'd be more than willing to grab a game or two if you pick it up. I'm sure SB would love to join as well.

I'll be honest I haven't been to a UT3 night in a while. It was pretty cool when hone was hosting but then once paco started hosting it kept changing weekly with new maps, mutators etc. You know I like come kind of consistency. I don't mind a little change like you were talking about hone, like a new map mixed into the rotation every week, but I played 3 weeks in a row where I was playing levels I've never played with the rules all changed up. Almost felt like a new game every week.

EDIT: R&C QFB was probabyl worth $3, but it looked like a poorly rushed job to make a quick buck on PSN. TOD was tons more fun.

I think everyone else is OK with it because they are UT3 players only. They'll play whatever. It's one of UT3 strengths and weakness' though. I like that there can be variety, but your way was better. Too many mutators = overkill sometime. One day he was toying with the idea of a big head mutator where the more you die the bigger the head. WTF? Alright for a laugh but ....

that sucks wtfux jetpacks? man I hate autohealth. I sort of just want to retake it over again I was hoping you'd just hand it back to me post summer. oh well.

I see. Well, I've been having my own network troubles at school and don't know when/if they'll ever get resolved. But, I'll probably pick it up since I was pretty hyped for it before it released, but then was content with COD4 as my fps of choice.

I can connect to the internet, but get signed out of my psn id within a few minutes of signing in. error 800AD23 i believe. It's something on Sony's side because the internet was fine last year at school, and everyone else on the internet that's come up in google says it just popped up randomly even after months of no trouble, so it's most likely a firmware thing.

I think it is too. Shortly after the latest firmware, mine started doing that. Knocking me off every 5 mins or so. Then all of a sudden a week or so later it was gone. Weird. I hope they release a new firmware that fixes the bugs (and theres a few) somewhat soonish.

It just occurred to me, hopefully Life with Playstation will be a FW update to enable it, and with it a bunch of other fixes for little things.

Sadly I think I read on the blog recently that life will actually be in folding at home and hence will more than likely just be an update for that.

Oh yeah, I read that recently too but kinda forgot about it. Guess I thought at the time they meant you had the ability to fold while browsing, not that it was a part of it. I don't fold but guess I'll have to at least download the app so I can use this.

After seeing the list of songs from Vol.1 and 2 of SingStar in your updated post over at CAG SB, I don't really like either one a whole lot but I definitely want a PS3 version. If you do buy Vol.2 and want to unload it, be sure to let me know (I'm hoping that ps2 disc swap feature hits when vol.2 does because I've already picked up Amped, 80's, and Pop to play for now).

so I've decided to ditch the wired connection and got someone to loan me their wireless password so I can game online. Hopefully its stable, which is why I liked being in the wall.

Actually BR, I'm reading up and I'm confused. Now I'm reading that Vol 2 will have trophies but not at launch. o_O Same goes for the PS2 hot swapping. Hopefully it'll get straightened out closer to the vol 2 release. I'd keep an eye out for a cheap Vol 1, because if the trophy thing is true I guess I'll be keeping it until it gets them.

the OP is so out of date SB, since I'm not sure how Paco runs things. I don't really like it at all I just want the new maps and mostl ystraight up ut3. all these crazy mutators are fucking ridiculous. QUAD jump!? oh if we're doing vctf then jetpacks. are you f'kng serious?! Also, does he use any of the maps we got? I converted some on my own that we tested out at the beginning of the summer.

BR/SB we should do a game sometime for UT3 w/o all the mutators and shit.

Yea, I'm not liking his response to my question in the UT3 thread. He simply said to download the ones at the link above which is ut3mods.com and there's a ton there. I know he's not the OP but I was expecting a list or something. I take it you don't have any plans to be the head honcho again hone? You could always put in a change of OP request to a mod or just close that thread and have paco start a new one.
