WHAAAT?!?!? PSP 3000!?!? I'll have to find some news on that, but right now I'm busy dealing with people moving in and dealing with parents and all their questions.

Yeah the PSP3000 will have built in mic, lighter , better screen etc. Seems nice, not sure if'd I'd upgrade from what I hear.

Tons of SingStar news (mostly for me!) Says a FW update will allow you to play singstar vids without game!

Man, I am missing out on all the news today. Guess it'll give me plenty of reading later tonight. Don't know if you would know this SB, but does the PS Eye (the ps3 camera) work with the SingStar games for ps2 when run on a ps3? Apparently SEARs is clearancing the ps2 versions out and I'm strongly considering picking one up. I know it won't have the online features like the ps3 version, but it'd still be fun to have (plus get the mics for cheap).

PSeye doesn't work with PS2 singstars unfortunately. I had a few ps2 singstars and it wouldn't recognize the eye. Same way that the ps2 ddrs wouldn't recognize it either.

Dude, if you can get it for cheap though the mics are the same, and I just heard from the Leipzig thing they'll be updating soon to allow ripping of ps2 singstar songs to play in the singstar ps3 version!

EDIT: Wipeout HD coming this fall (technically between 9/22/08 and 12/22/08.), more details on blog including trophies, split screen offline, 8 player online etc. Exact release and price due in september.

The PS2 disk needs to be in the PS3 while playing those songs...Yes 4 Warhawk

I just popped $20 into our account, balance is up to $64.21. I got this PSN card a month and a half ago and I finally got around to using it. I am not looking forward to classes starting up again tommorrow, but oh well. The sons-a-bitches called monday to let me know the class that I really needed to take this semester was fucking cancelled. Those rat bastards, I love the last minute scramble to pick up another class. Damn it! Hope y'all are having a great summer. I need to try and fit some more gaming into my life soon, or I will fucking go crazy! The wife has been all "why can't we just spend some time together" What the fuck? Whoa, buddah-rant. Sounds like you need some gaming just to relax man. Not looking forward to classes either, considering right now I have to change a few things around since I didn't get into MSU's College of Engineering on the first try. Hopefully after this semester I'll get my GPA up enough for admission. Although, I still anticipate it taking me a total of 5 years to graduate (starting my 3rd year now) and interesting note today was move-in for freshmen so I get to deal with meeting all these new happy faces looking forward to spending the next few days trashed.

Forgot, Hot Shots OOB is now a must buy after Kratos was announced as DLC. I wanted the game already, but now it's a no brainer. Just wish I could've gotten it on amazon last week.

Those poor freshman, they have so much potential and ambition. Too bad most of them will get flushed down the crapper. I have a friend who goes to MSU Lawschool. Man I don't know how you can put up with those kids and there parents. I would probably end up with multile felonies if I had to deal with that shit on a regular basis. Guess I am losing patience in my old age. I am taking both of my classes online this semester,so hopefully I can avoid campus the whole semester. Not to mention my wife will probably be a huge help in my Geography class since she has a bachelors in Geography. I will probably just let her take the class. Online learning rules!! Oh by the way, I wouldn't worry about it taking 5 years to graduate, it'll probably take me that long to get my associates. It sucks working full time and going to school, really limits the number of classes I can take.At least my work picks up the tab.

Shame that the SingStar ps2 compatibility is a disc-swap. Originally, people thought it was going to be ripping the tracks. But, if I can find a clearanced copy of SS Amped at Sears, I'll pick it up and then get Vol.2 when it drops.

Yeah that sucks. The tracklist for vol 2 also sucks in my eyes so I may skip that too. DLC is picking up though so there's no shortage of songs, and vol 3 looks killer.

I'll update in R&C tonight.

EDIT: BR, if you don't mind waiting 3-4 weeks after vol 2 comes out, I'm thinking of getting it just for trophies (yes I'm officially a whore) but because I don't care for most the songs on it, I could then send it your way ....

If that EyePet shit comes to the US I will buy it just to draw cool stuff..That tech demo from awhile back is being implemented it seems. If that comes to LBP it will own the interwebs!

w00t! Grabbed a copy of SingStar Amped for the low price of $13.97 before tax at Sears! I might go out and grab a copy of '80s tonight with the GS coupon as well, since that tracklist looks pretty fun. If only there were a used copy of Vol.1 around here I could get my ps3 hooked up with it.

Anyone else here test out the Force Unleashed demo? I think it has the potential to be one of the best games ever right now. Its got some amazing technology behind it and if the story holds up, it could be really awesome. I'm not really a Star Wars guy, but the game has a lot going right for it.
