Buzz! Quiz TV - Discussion Thread
Hey Group Members,
Here is the place to discuss all things related to Buzz. If you're looking to learn more about this game, please check out this FAQ created by MyBuzz.com: http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=buzzgames&thread.id=1043
After speaking to The Mana Knight, I have volunteered to become the host for Buzz Game Nights on Sundays @ 6 pm PST. Feel free to add me to your PSN buddy list and we can communicate via AIM and/or Skype.
Facts I just learned about Buzz according to the FAQ:
1. All DLC will appear in sofa vs. sofa matches (online) as long as all participants have the DLC.
2. In sofa vs. sofa matches, 1-4 buzzers can participate but only one character will be represented for your team.

ATTENTION!
Buzz account reset. Next time you log in to it make sure you activate the account or dlc won't work. This is a result of having my PS3 die and having to get my old ps3 off the account. Any questions just ask here.

Re: Buzz! Quiz TV - Discussion Thread
Thanks StrandedBrit. Not too partial about this pack but we're all or nothing, right?
We need to Buzz together as a group so that we can test out all our DLC.
Btw, I read on the PS blog that Sony intends to release new Quiz Packs every month.

American Culture Pack purchased.
That leaves us with only $4 left in the account. Now we have to decide whether to keep on funding or not.
If no one reads this I'll eventually PM everyone about it. More than likely when the next DLC is released.

I'm down for more DLC packs. Buzz's continuous DLC support is turning this game into a platform like Rock Band and Burnout Paradise which is great.
And why haven't any of you joined CAG Buzz Nights (Sunday 6pm pst)? I want to try out our DLC in a multiplayer environment.

I was talking to hone and was thinking about maybe just adding $5 in this time. What you guys think about that?

I don't mind adding $5. Disappointed that the Prehistoric Pack went back to its original pricing infrastructure with $7.99 for National Geographic packs.
They said it was gonna be $4.99 in one of their press releases!

Deposited $5 and bought Quiz of the Year 2008 Pack. Remaining balance is $3.08.
Can the next depositor buy the Dino themed pack?

Hey guys,
I just added $5 and purchased the National Geographic: Prehistoric pack with the amount left over.
What do you guys think about buying Buzz Junior: Jungle Party for 4.99 (and/or future standalone BUZZ games)? This one is a full game, works with the PS3 wireless buzzers and has 5 mini-games.

Re: Buzz! Quiz TV - Discussion Thread
I'm going to say no to Buzz Junior: Jungle Party for now. The original game had 40 mini-games and we only get 5 (but in HD)? If one were to buy it individually, that would mean $1 per mini-game which seems ridiculous, especially when I don't know how good those 5 mini-games are.esoul wrote:Hey guys,

I enjoy playing mini-games (Mario Party, Wario Ware, etc.) but I would like to wait for future Buzz Junior packs which are more heftier. According to Joystiq, "Jungle Party is the first of many, with Buzz! Junior: RoboJam and Buzz! Junior: Monster Rumble following at a date."

I've added my 5. That means there's only 5.03 in there or something close. I've PMed hone. I'll talk to buddah soon as he was having dead PS3 issues a while back. Next one to add funds should get the sports pack.

Very excited about the Rock Legends pack. I <3 rock n' roll.
Wish we had more money though. Has Buddah deposited his 2nd $5 yet and is everyone up for a third $5 deposit? I am.

Just wanted to tell everyone that I downloaded Rag Doll Kung Fu (full game) onto our account for free. I'm doing this for all my long-term groups just in case someone forgets to snatch the game before the 5/21 free exclusive is up.

Re: Buzz! Quiz TV - Discussion Thread
I'll ask Buddah and Hone about a next round of funding. I myself am tending towards a no.
As for the current situation. We have $6 in there and hence a buck short to get the sports pack I think. Not sure what the alternative is, but I guess we wait for a 6 dollar pack.

Re: Buzz! Quiz TV - Discussion Thread
It's been half a month and little activity in here.
So what's the prognosis on future DLC? I'm always up for it since the packs are very cheap once we split costs.
Also, Buzz! Quiz World was announced for PS3 at E3. Don't know what to make of that game but I hope the game series remains a platform like Rock Band.

I hope everyone got my CAG pm. I don't mind depositing another $5. I just need to know if everyone's in because I don't want to look like the only fool to throw money into the account.
