that's awesome sb, look forward to playing with ya. I'm trying to get a copy of BFBC to play online when I get back to school. Man, I'd love to play some cod4 when I get back as well. None of the new game modes really interest me though.

To be honest summertime isn't really the best gaming time for me. It's more for single player stuff, as I find myself out more, and the kids don't go to bed as early so I tend not to game online when they're up.

I'm with Smog in that I'll proabably get rid of COD4 within the next month or two. By the time I'll be playing online regularly SOCOM and R2 will be coming out or out. BFBC just seems like a COD4 clone to me, which isn't a bad thing, but not worth me keeping either seeing as how so few have it. Orange Box might be in the same boat when I get done with the single player. TF2 nights seem to be about as popular as UT3 nights lately (which is not good hone!). BP nights are dead too.

Oh well. Can't wait for SCIV! Hopefully today or tomorrow!

I need something to hold me over until SOCOM, which isnt until October. I think BFBC fits the bill. I dont game online much either during summer, since I usually have people over.

For the record, I'm a yes for PJE.

EDIT: Here's my Pre-order list for the rest of the year, so if any of you guys are getting different stuff and want to trade later ....

SCIV, Mercs 2, COD WaW, Valkyria Chronicles, Bioshock, Mirrors Edge, Ghostbusters (delayed now though), Fallout 3, Project Origin, Motorstorm 2. I'm also getting Resistance 2, LBP, Buzz TV Quiz, SingStar Vol 2, and Socom but will probably keep those around a while.

Also, looks like R&C QFB is a 8/21 release. Presuming BC is being released in the next 2 weeks then it's time for another round of funding.

For the record I vote yes for R&C QFB.

If all is correct, then Smog needs to add 20, buddah and BR 10. I've already put in, and hone will have 20 when he gets back.

Ya I keep saying Im gonna put money in and never get around to it. I will get a $20 psn card next week to settle up.

Damn SB, you are one organized gamer!!! Got your shite planned out for all year. LBP, Socom, R2, Madden 09 and NBA 2k9 are the only for sure buys that I will get. Cant really think of much else, Bioshock will probably just get a rent as there is no MP..

And thats it...Maybe all this talk about Mercs 2 will encourage me to try something new.

I'm a big YES for eden. I didn't think we even needed votes anymore since we get everything. I need to map out my purchases for the next few months, although I'm always jumping at random deals so it probably wouldn't stick. So maybe just the for sure purchases. That's a good deal for SCIV and it's been getting good reviews. A lot of people playing it too! Hopefully mine gets here today.

No call for me. Truthfully I dont think I ever verified the e-mail so thats probably why. Sounds creepy though. Hopefully they get some news on their beta out there. I fully expect the Socom beta to be out by the 2nd week of september, then the R2 one after that.

Fighting games are not my jig, so I have no input really.

hopefully I can get ut3 night kicking again when I come back. I'm not into fighting games so I'm probably not getting SCIV. Goozex sent me mgs4. Just picked it up yesterday. I'd be up for PJE. I haven't really read anything on it though.

I get back to school on 9/4 or something along those lines.

I actually move back up to EL this weekend. Classes don't start until 8/25 but I'm up there a week earlier then the rest of the students because I have to go through "training" again since I'll be an RA for the 2nd year in a row.

It's been like 4 days since I've played a game on my ps3. Went on a weekend trip to Ohio and before that had my ps3 busy all Thursday copying music. About 15 more GB left and I'll have my entire music library on my ps3.

Hey Smog, I'm done with BFBC. What's the plan?

Well, My hard drive took a shit last night. I got off work at like 12 30 and went to play my ps3. I went on te internet browser, Signed in to PSN, then played PJE for a minute. When I quit that the XMB did not load up. I knew I was fucked. So I turned it off, then on again and it says- "The hard disk database will be rebuilt".
So, my question is, what do I do? Should I go buy a new HD and see if I can pull anything iff the 40gb original? I just dont want to lose all 15 PSN games we got, other than that I could care less. Like game saves and whatnot are not that important to me. What should be my course of action SB?

Edit- While browsing the official ps forums I found some info. It seems nothing will be erased beyond PSN messages and any name changes done to other files. Still Im uber-worried. I think im gonna go grab a new HD today now.

Had that happen to me a few months ago. Didn't really know what was going on, but yeah, you still keep everything but lose some stuff like the dictionary words, if you renamed music/movies it'll revert back to the original name, psn messages. I just had to do some renaming, but was back up after a little bit. Didn't have a problem again after that. I googles it afterwards and it seems there are a few people who have had this, but it's not the end of the machine.
