This goes to hone or if you guys know How hard is it to make an android application? There is a market out there for a specific timecard app. We should make one and sell it for like 2 bucks a pop. How long would it take and how much would it cost?

1-8-7, eh? Don't really watch much TV these days outside of football, mostly because I don't have much time, which brings me to your question.

I'm actually working on an iPad/iPhone/Android application for Motorola with 3 other people for a class. We're making an app that sends extra information about whatever TV show you're watching to your device while watching it. We have to do a lot of the network stuff, which none of us have done, plus it's supposed to be a 15 week project all semester. So, depending on how involved the application is with a company's network since it's a timecard thing, it could get kinda complicated. But, regardless, it still takes a bit of time to make sure everything is solid and secure. And, since everyone else has jobs too it depends on how many hrs/week a person can put in. I'd guess at least a few months though, as in more than 3, but maybe less than 6.

So apparently NBA Elite got delayed til next year (what hasn't), but they let out the good news that NBA JAM would be released standalone on PSN/XBLA 'in time for the holidays'.

Alright so I signed up for the Google App Inventor beta since it is supposed to let dudes like me (no coding experience) create applications for Android Marketplace. Do you guys think I will be able to do it? I have not one ounce of coding experience...

It all depends on the amount of time you have to learn. Google usually provides some pretty good documentation and stuff to get you started, but it might get a little technical depending on how feature rich you want this to be.

Check out wrap time lite, I would like to duplicate that basically. I'll give it a shot. I might have to call hone for some help though lol
