Group 2 Discussion

There must be something in the 3D tv hw/fw that recognizes 3D games or something because I just plugged in my headset and couldn't find any options to turn 3D on in MS, Wipeout or SuperStardust. So no 3D for me.

E3 week though!

My only hopes for E3 are that they do not totally ass rape Socom into being unrecognizable from past installments. And that they FINALLY announce Syphon Filter 5. Anything beyond that is gravy

I think MS did well today. Most of it expected of course. Newly redesigned 360 looks decent too, pity the price hasn't dropped any. Kinetic is basically for the real casual gamer it seems. I might give a shit about the timed cod dlc for the next 3 years, except it's .... cod.

Thing is, I expect much the same from Sony tomorrow. New 250gb sku, ton of move crap and sony 1st party. Hopefully something that hasn't been leaked already ...

Yeah the COD stuff is stupid, luckily I think COD is on the way down, especially with games like Medal of Honor and Bulletstorm looking better and more innovative. Kinect was weaksauce. Although that dancing asian chick was sexy. New Xbox does look nice though. Hopefully we dont have to pay to use a decent PSN after today

Looks like Sony avoided ruining Socom for you by avoiding the game all together, except for a few videos.

PSN+ doesn't sound that tempting due to losing it all when you stop paying.

Twisted Metal looked like so much fun! No Syphon Filter blows my mind when they have been working on it for 2 years confirmed. PSN Plus there is no real value there. And 3d gaming is still years away

I've been semi-retired from the gaming scene last few months. Always seems I have other shit to do unfortunately.

Hopefully I be changing that soon enough.

Anyone tried the new Transformers game? It's meant to be pretty good with 3p coop campaign and a decent MP experience.

I've been gaming like one night a week the past few. been using my time to umm . . . be social.

Need to get some more time in Lead and Gold, it's been a while.

Hadn't been paying attention to TF because I didn't expect it to actually be good but reviews are saying it is. Also, it's an Activision product so I shunned it for that reason too.

Only games on my radar coming soon are Def Jam Rapstar and I suppose Fallout NV, but I need to finish 3 first.

Thinking about picking up at least 1 Move controller to play RE5, but still on the fence for now.

Yeah gaming isnt as fun with the nice weather outside. Actually been rocking the PSP a bit more lately, playing through PJM again. Heard good things about Transformers too

Greatest Hits seem like they can be Gameshared. I know all of you guys have already ran through Infamous but we should keep it in mind for other games

I pretty much stopped paying attention to all games except bfbc2. Don't think I would play enough of either of those games for dlc, but if everyone else thinks they will then go for it.

I started Fracture this weekend, so far it's a frustrating, buggy mess. If I try to play with 5.1 sound it screws up and cuts off after about 20min.

Then you must have games better than Fracture to play Im back down to 3 games NHL Socom and Red Dead

I have yet to play some Red Dead, trying to clear out all my older games. Just finished Assassin's Creed 1 that I've had for over two years!
