Pinball and Kung fu downloaded.

Note: The account was technically at 52c when I got to it so I added $10 and got Pinball since Kung fu was free. That means it's another round of adding with me up 10.

Were you keeping track of everyone's payments? I can't remember when the last time I added was and if I owe $20 or $10 now.

As far as I know everyone was up to date as of yesterday, so everyone can stuff in $10 (or 20 if they so desire).

Oh and for RE5, AIM me anytime if you're interested. You know me, most weeknights I'm avail. Any luck on getting a copy of Red Alert 3 yet?

Hell yes what a wings game. Incredible series. Datsyuk played his ass off and just got murdered all series. I dont think I have ever seen someone play that hard and take that much punishment for 7 games. He deserved a goal but whatever, we are moving on. Zetterberg played out of his mind too in the last 5 minutes, he blocked like 3 shots towards the end

I had about 15 stitches put into my shin today to close a nasty gash from work.

Happier news is that I'm going to Chicago to watch Game 4 because my brother who lives out there bought tickets.

This FO3 news is interesting because we can either purchase all the dlc for $50 now, or wait until October and pay $60 for the GOTY Edition. Tough call.

Edit: If I make it to GTA4 tonight, maybe I'll ask around about the fo3 dlc for a 5th.

Not tough. You've been put into a F3 DLC group. If me you and hone get it under this group it's $16.66 each. If I manage to get 2 others and form a F3 DLC group it'll be just $10. Awesome!

Other than that not much new. Waiting for hone to get back and you to get RA3 so we can 4 way mayhem it up.

Video games take a backseat to sports at this point every year so i aint been doing much. Infamous is calling out to me though

Yup, I let him know that he would make 5. I almost forgot to ask around, but js1 showed up to gta4 night for the first time in a long while. I figure there will be more details once release day nears.

Believe it or not I finally got a new HD. My sister had an extra one laying around and Im gonna pop it in the PS3. I know I have aqsked this before, but just to make sure: If I do a system backup it saves all my info? Even my trophies since I cannot "sync with server"? And our account will be on there too, with all the game patches and whatnot? I dread having to re-update every game, especially since Socom will take me a few hours alone.

Trophies you don't need to worry about since they are saved via Sony servers (I believe). As long as you are backing up the "game data" I don't think you'll need to re-update everything. Since you're still using the same system, I don't think you have to worry about the accounts being activated, but might want to double check with SB on that one.

I think the backup/restore utility basically creates an image of the HDD and then copies it. My experience was that I lost nothing. I just turned it on and the only difference was the free space indicator. Trophies though will be on Sonys servers. Just click on your name in the friends list and they'll all come back (presuming you can sync )

yeah, you just have to watch out for certain games like ninja gaiden sigma which don't allow you to transfer saves

Got my new HD up and in, piece of cake. Hardest part was getting the old HD out of the tray. Trophies are all there and now I can sync with server. Also my old HD had like burn marks on the paper part with all the info. Kind of scary.

Still need to grab a PSN card, will probably do it today since I wanna snipe Gamestop b2g1

More free AOB maps Smog. I'd love to play that game some time, but no matter where I go or how many times I reinstall I can't connect to an online game.


Edit: Sonofabitch! I just realized that since my copy of inFAMOUS came from GS and was the last one, it was gutted. I don't see any info about the Uncharted 2 beta. Hopefully it's shareable, but if you don't feel like risking it SB it's all good.

Wow you should call them up and give em shit. Thats not cool and half the reason Infamous is worth $60.

I traded in a few games (Killzone2, Fracture, NBA 09) for Mercs 2, Assassins Creed, and Resistancce 1. I cannot beleive how much better R1 is than R2. They tried using too many colors in R2. Plus the local coop in R1 is better. Havent tried online but saw there was around 1000 ppl still on it

About U2 beta, Frisky said something about activate on 3 accounts. Here is his post

The code can only be used once, but it may be able to be gameshared.

It doesn't specifically state that it can be, but it does mention that it "can only be redeemed through PSN Account Management up to a maximum of 3 times."

So it could just be three times, the normal five, or maybe just once.

Almost sounds like the Socom beta, give it to 3 friends type thing

Guess we'll wait and see. My GF bought me the copy and I wasn't paying attention that it was gutted and forgot about the beta. That GS is a little far away and I just don't feel like making the trip out there just for that, plus she has the receipt.

Game 2 tonight! Twas lots of fun watching last nights game and hopefully they get the job done again. My prediction is that this will be over in 5 games, max.

Nice to see the Tigers doing pretty well too, at least they've got some damn fine pitching.

Seeing as my copy was mailed towards the end of last week, I'm gonna go ahead and say it's doubtful I'll get in on the beta. I'll be lukcy if infamous lands on my door before the end of this week. Seems to be a lot of dissapointed peeps out there whoc didn't get the beta.

Oh well. I've got my hands full enough that I probably wouldn't play it that much.

We also have Wolfenstein 3d and Cellfactor : Psychokinetic Wars. I'm downloading the cellfactor demo to give it a test run. 50/50 on wolf 3d.

Damn we are tired out there, especially in the third period. We desperately need an extra day off but the NHL is dumb as hell. No for Cellfactor and Wolf3d. Ill take Trash Panic.

I already have the beta too. Still have not beat the coop part, hit me up for a playthrough sometime.

Unrelated, what did you guys think of Assassins Creed? I think it is pretty bad ass so far
