Yeah, Orchard Lake St.Mary's but they put those schools into the state tournament too so we ended up playing em. Can't remember the final score, but I know we had one kid put almost 40pts on them.

It is crap. If they intended it this way from the beginning then they shouldn't have said share with friends and be merry.

We have 2 options (unless someone can come up with another) and thats either carry on as 4 (downside is we're only 4 ... duh) or start a new group up so at least buddah can get new stuff (downside is we'll have 30 odd bucks in this account too much).

It really just blows because he's losing out on all the money he's invested. I'll assume he had no luck with the Rock Band group too.

But, I think we can leave the decision up to him. Not sure exactly how we declare who's money is still in this account if we were to start a new one, but ideas would be to use it for stuff that maybe one or two people agree on (like PoP Epilouge, for example) who somehow purchase the account funds from the rest of us, or just have one person outright purchase the funds. Possibly by depositing however much is left in that account into a new one.

But, that all depends on whether or not buddah wants to continue in a new group.

Wow. WTF is going on here. So he cant even get the games back that we all have? That is bullshit and changes the whole long term sharing idea.

Is there any preventative measures that we can take? Like put the account on another PS3 temporarily until you get a new one?

I don't think you can do anything for an assploding PS3. Theres no way to power those things back up.

I talked to buddah and I think he'll go for the new group thing. Shame that he loses all the other stuff. I may share with him though. 90% of the stuff on that account I'll never play again so once I've played the shit out of worms and bzb I may just let him play them for a while on the account. I've always viewed this more of a cheap rental thing anyway with get games cheap, play them, then done. Except for Burnout Paradise I guess.

As for the money in the account. I'm guessing I'll just outright buy it out ($30 right) and deposit in the new account we make. I thought about turning into a DLC account but PoP dlc has shown me again that they're just out to take your money with that stuff. Maybe I'll get the penny arcade episodes!

Not sure what he'll do about RB born but he actually posts in there so I'm sure he'll make in known sooner or later.

He just got a call from a sony agent saying they were working on getting his problem fixed so all may not be lost. He'll find out tomorrow hopefully.

Anyone want to login to the gameshare account, maybe check the download list in the store to check if it has been deactivated? (or the buzz one or the rockband one Born?)

Finished the PoP DLC the other day and wasn't impressed. Should've been in the game. I'm not feeling RE5 a whole lot too. Decent, but not blowing me away. I'm due to get Stormrise next off goozex which should be interesting.

Well, I will tell you guys I really hope that this shit never happens again. And god forbid any of you has to endure the pain and suffering that I have over the past few days. This was the most horrific experience I have ever had with customer service of any sort. I was so fed up that at one point I was ready to just give up. They kept drilling me with the "terms of service" bullshit, and that gamesharing is not officially condoned. I think they may have just gotten sick of me calling and giving them hell every single day. I got to give them credit they stuck to there guns for a long time, but in the end I wore them down to submission. Chalk this up as a win for the little guy. I tell you what though, it is a good thing I couldn't get my hands around any of those bastards scrawny little necks. The first three times I called they must have told me 35 times that the only way possible to get a slot back for my accounts was to deactivate one of the other systems attached to the PSN account, i finally asked them why they don't listen to the words that were coming out of my damn mouth. I stuck to my story that 3 of the systems died like mine, and the other was sold on ebay and unaccessible. They were all like too damn bad, and I was all like BULLSHIT, and it went on like this for days and days. Then, when they had beaten me into submission I got a voicemail at home from Richard, a tech support specialist in the office where I faxed my request for the deactivation. He said, "I took care of that a few days ago, call me if you are still having issues." So, I called his ass up and he was like I show all accounts are deactivated and gave me a new SR# to follow up on with the tool boxes at the 800 number. So, today I called them up and they were all like the only way, blah, blah, blah and I said "That's a lie, Richard said... and they were like, Oh. Hold on." And 5 minutes later a tier 3 agent(oooooh, Tier 3) got on the phone and was like, "OK, just this once, but don't call and ask us to do this again. The risk is yours" So, to make a long story short. I'm back.

Actually I meant it's the next on my list to get. I was #4 but now I'm 5 That and shaun whites snowboarding is 1 after it. Wheelman is third on the list at 10.

Dang, CometCrash gave me a scare. From the title and the short description it almost sounded like the game my group is working on for our final class project But, its definitely not the same thing. I'll probably pass since I still have to complete the other TD games we bought, which also look slightly better quality than this.

Damn Buddha fuck that. Sounds horrible. I just hope to god that when mine goes it doesnt take the power supply with it so I can deactivate the account personally.

You know what. I initially thought the text chat would be so lame, but we got several peeps in a room last night and it wasn't too bad. It's cool that you still see the messages pop up when not in the chat room. One of my friends just got BFBC and I was already playing. He msged asking how to start a squad and a few lines later we hooked up.

Ultimately voice would be ideal, but it's not as bad an alternative as I thought.

Only significant things in the store are Comet Crash at $10 and free Qore.

Was that Flock price confirmed at $15? I quickly scanned the blog post today but didn't see it. I'm definitely interested in this game but $15 is a little scary.

Yup, John D confirmed it in the comments. I almost spit my drink out. They are starting to milk us now. It started out slowly with Jeopardy and Q4B, now anything that is decent is more than 10bucks. If BC:R came out today bet it would be $15. I mean Worms is severely limited and it was $13. Im still really interested in Flock but somewhere we need to make a stand.

I think you guys are right, the price of downloadable games is starting to creep north. Now, the crappy games are releasing at $10 and anything from a major publisher is $15 or more.
